CONGREGATIONAL LIFE RESIDENCY

Salem Pres is a vibrant PCA church in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. The Salem Pres Congregational Life Residency is a 2-year, salaried position for recent college grads. Residents are invested in through a mentor, regular meetings with a pastor, a year-long course in Reformed Theology, and a books budget. The role is designed to develop skills and empower Residents to learn about their giftedness.

The work is relational, meeting with Youth and College students, but also includes helping with worship and liturgy, community gatherings, and other work within the life of a growing church.

A major goal is to cultivate the value of participating in the wider life of a local church for recent grads. But you also help support intergenerational church. The Residency is not only for those who want to enter vocational ministry as much as we hope to invest in you as you transition out of college and into the church in a new way. We hope you benefit as much as the church will from your unique gifts and perspective.
