The men of Salem Pres are planning a retreat on April 19-21, 2024! We will stay at a private campground in Wilkes County for a weekend of tent camping, cooking, fellowship, and prayer. This retreat is also open to boys who are currently youth group age and older (6th grade and above). Cost is $85. For additional questions, email austin@salempresws.org.

Discovering Salem covers the basics of Christianity, what Presbyterians believe, and what it looks like to become a member at Salem Pres. On Saturday evening (6pm-9pm) and Sunday morning (9am-12pm), join for dinner and breakfast together, too! If you would like to learn more about our church and what we believe please sign up to attend! For members of Salem Pres, we ask folks to commit to either serve in childcare, teach Sunday School, or lead a Youth Bible Study as part of our baptismal vows to be “part of the Christian nurture” of a child. On July 1st, we will open sign-ups for members to commit to one year of teaching Sunday School or leading a Youth (middle and high school) Bible study. The remaining members will be rolled into the childcare schedule for the year (roughly 3-4 times). If you are a member, be thinking about whether you’d like to teach Sunday School, lead a Youth Bible study, or serve occasionally in childcare.

Small Groups are the backbone of Salem Pres. We love having people participate in these little communities. Small Groups are the main source for spiritual formation and community at Salem. We believe these are fueled by gathering weekly for teaching, singing, and the Lord's Supper at our Sunday worship gathering. After making the worship gathering a regular part of your life, we encourage you to join a Small Group.
