Join us on April 17th for our Maundy Thursday Service. We will meet at 7:30pm for a brief service of songs, foot washing, scripture reading, and the Lord’s Supper.
The service will be held at the Woosley Chapel on the campus of Crossnore.
The men of Salem Pres are planning a retreat on April 11-13th, 2025! We will stay at a private campground in Wilkes County for a weekend of tent camping, cooking, fellowship, and prayer. This retreat is also open to boys who are currently youth group age and older (6th grade and above). Cost is $95. For additional questions, email austin@salempresws.org.

This year Salem Pres will be participating in a joint Ash Wednesday Service with both Hope and Redeemer Presbyterian Churches.
We will meet at Redeemer Presbyterian for scripture reading, singing, a short homily and application of ashes. Childcare up to age 4 is available by signing up here.

Sunday February 9th we will celebrate 12 years as a church. Join us for a special service where we hear stories of God's faithfulness from each other and sing praises to God. Then afterwards we will head downstairs for cake in the Fellowship Hall!

Join us on Saturday, January 25th from 9am-12pm for a free parenting seminar with local counselor, Martha Metzler. Martha will share both her personal and clinical thoughts on how to parent with "grit and grace," whether you're parenting a toddler, a college student, or any stage in between. We will also break out into small groups for discussion, and have time for a Q&A with Martha. Light refreshments will be provided. From January to April, join Austin Pfeiffer for Exploring Salem, a class for those eager to deepen their faith and understanding of Salem Church. Covering Reformed Theology topics like creation, salvation, vocation, and worship, this weekly Thursday gathering runs from January 9 to April 10, 7pm-8:30pm. Participants receive The Contemplative Pastor by Eugene Peterson and Letters to a Young Calvinist by James K.A. Smith. Sign up in Church Center at the link below by December 20th to join!

On November 24th, we’ll gather for Stewardship Sunday, focusing on money with clarity and grace. Our Servant Leaders will share how they manage our church’s finances, including the Mercy Fund. Together, we’ll sing of God’s provision and explore our relationship with His gifts in a thoughtful, Gospel oriented way.

Steve Beck is returning to teach a custom workshop on conflict resolution for our church. There are plenty of books and workshops out there on conflict resolution, but this is a rare opportunity to receive help and wisdom from someone who knows the Lord in the midst of what can be a very chaotic season in our country and around our dinner tables.

New to the Pew will be August 25th. If you have a child entering Kindergarten, this typically means they are aging out of childcare. New to the Pew is a short seminar before church helping orient kids and give vocabulary to parents about what is happening in the worship service.

On Thursday evening, March 28th we will have our Maundy Thursday Sunset Service starting at 7:30pm. This will be a brief service of songs, scripture, foot washing and Communion as the sun sets.
Then join us for our Easter Sunday service March 31st at 3pm at Calvary Moravian on Holly Ave. After the service we will have an easter egg hunt for the kids and we invite everyone to bring food and blankets to gather on the lawn with the whole congregation for a picnic.
